Haul @ 13/9/2010

Okay, as promised, here's the haul. First up, the green Reventon. Seriously, it would have been better in its native color, grey. But sadly, I missed that one. D:
Next up, the Aston Martin DBS. I've been eyeing this car the moment it was announced, but only to be found very recently. Featured in Daniel Craig's debut James Bond movie, Casino Royale, it was also featured in the following one, Quantum Of Solace. Sadly, the car was badly damaged. D: As for the scaled down version, I must say that the red interior is horrible.
Then we have the '92 Ford Mustang. This is the last of the Fox Body 'stangs. And it's really a sleeper. The looks aren't as aggressive as the 2011 'stang, but nonetheless, the 5.0L V8 is proven to be very powerful. :D
Now, we have a recolor of the Gallardo LP560-4. Originally in grey, it is now white. From a glance, this one looks suspiciously like the Reventon. But that was because this car drew inspirations from the Reventon itself. With 560hp under the hood, this is not a slow car.
Lastly, we have the Skyline GT-R R34. This must be one of the most sought after models this year. This particular version is the Z Tune version, which is one of the highest end R34 Skyline in production. Not much needs to be said for this car, as it is really a legend itself. :)

Finally, the Ecto-1 !!

Went shopping today. By some luck, I found these ->
Although I must say that the way they boxed the cars damaged the box a bit tho. :( Ah, what the heck man, it still looks awesome. My friend managed to get a Veyron and a Murcielago. :D

Here's my overall April haul. Not much though. There's the Plymouth Superbird, 2x Mazda Furai, Chevy Bel-Air and a Gallardo.

Featured Car : Pontiac Firebird 400

The first generation Firebirds had a characteristic "coke bottle" styling. Unlike its cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro, its bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end and its rear "slit" taillights were inspired by the Pontiac GTO. Both a two-door hardtop, coupe and a convertible were offered through the 1970 model year (the next generation, minus the convertible, being announced as 1970½ models). Originally the car was a "consolation prize" for Pontiac, who had initially wished to produce a two-seat sports car of its own design, based on the original concept car. However, GM feared such a vehicle would directly compete with Chevrolet's Corvette, and the decision was made to give Pontiac a piece of the pony car market by having them share the F-body platform with Chevrolet.

Featured Car : Dodge Viper ACR

A new ACR was added to the Viper line up after the 2008 model year. Its upgrades are more drastic than the original, including street legal racing tires, two piece brake rotors, adjustable suspension, and significant aerodynamic revision. No engine modifications were made, so figures remain at 600 hp (450 kW) and 560 lb·ft (760 N·m) as in the base car. The ACR gives an advantage of being street legal. The ACR is similar to the MOPAR Viper that Dodge displayed at various auto shows. Weight is also decreased by as much as 80 lb (36 kg) by way of the "Hardcore Package" which deletes radio, speakers, amplifier, trunk carpet, hood pad and tire inflator. Its aerodynamic upgrades produce 1000 lbf (4.4 kN) of down-force at 150 mph (240 km/h), or roughly 10 times the downforce the base Viper SRT-10 can produce at the same speed. No upgrades were given to the interior except for the addition of a professional beacon-tripped lap timer.

My Haul @ 18/3/10

This came in today. :DHmm, I wonder what's inside.. Yay !! Finally.. These came in.. Actually I was only going for the R34, but since the rest was decently price (PwP), I decided to get a few more. :DAnother reg Torino Talladega. Still a really pretty car. :DMy second '67 GT500. Somehow the blue looks better on this car.And finally, a white Murcielago. Damn this looks good. I think the orange is missing.. hmm

And here's some pics of the R34 GT-R. Made by Fast Lane, this can only be found in Toys R Us. Love the details on this one.
Front end of the R34. Looks sharp. Love it.Rear end. Painted rear lights. At least. :D Well, this one MUST go for a wheel swap. And I want to see how does this compare with the upcoming HW casting. :D

CNY Haul

Well, I did pass my wanted list to a friend of mine. Here are the cars he came back with.A '67 Shelby GT500. I already have the dark blue one, and this "should" complete the variants. I hope. Oddly enough, the card-art shows the same car, but the rims looks like a black PR5. hmm...
A Back Slider. I already have one, but uncarded, as the card was bend. This one goes to the storage box. Hehe
Super Van. Looks pretty old school, yet cool at the same time. Ambulance..? Hmm
GP2009. This looks like the same casting of a Ferrari F1 car I have some time back. Love that matte blue paint job. Looks really cool.
And my personal fav. The Buick Grand National. One prob, when the car was on the pegs, I did not bother to buy it, as I was hoping the price to drop. Sadly, it did not. Not just that, the car disappeared, and the price WENT UP. Just my luck, I guess.

Part 1 : Haul @ 28/2/2010

Here's what I got..hehe
Yup, a Hot Auction 2010 Bugatti Veyron. Some forummers did post theirs quite a long time ago though. :/

Here's some other angles.
Eh, what's behind there?
Oh wow, it's a Citreon C4 Rally !!
Doesn't this look beautiful? Pity about that chrome interior though, but this is just screams for some decal and livery work. What do you guys think?
